The dude in the pic is a newbie. He sat at Horrorfind in 2011 with the only book he had a story published in. He was stoked to have a reading, meet some of his favorite horror writers, and he hoped the ride was getting started.
Ain’t he the cutest thing?
The truth is I had one of the best times of my life, and I’ve never looked back.
Over the course of more than thirty stories published, eleven novels (solo or co-written), and three collections in print, I’ve enjoyed the ride.
I’ve survived. I’ve survived the doubts. I’ve survived when I could’ve given up. I’ve survived.
In fact, there are plenty of new things on the way, and I have lots of news to share when the time is right about next year. For now, I will say there are some novels nearing completion, some stories ready to get out in the world, and the sequel to Death Inc. is now started. In 2024, I will be at three cons and possibly more if time allows. Next year will be a huge year, and I hope all of you fine folks will come along. I want to peel back the curtains on this world and the next. Won’t you come along and see if we can survive the night together?
I will be posting here more as I get the ball rolling on things. I may put some peeks and quick reads here for your enjoyment. I mean, I’d do it because I like you people. I also thank you for the support you’ve given me over the years. It means a lot to me.
Anyway, I must get back to work. Take care of yourself and don’t let the thing under your bed get you!
Happy fall (we survived another summer),
Brent

looking forward to more books from you
