Happy Tuesday! Okay, friends, it’s time for the updates on what I’m working on. I’ve been traveling and getting some house construction done, so I’m not as far as I’d like to be on items, but progress is being made.
On Dying Days: Apocalypse, I have hit the 9k word mark. The word count is a tad behind where I’d like to be, but I’m still running at a good clip on the book. This will wrap up my trilogy set in Armand Rosamilia’s Dying Days zombie series. It was a blast to be a part of, but the time has come to move to other projects. Nora’s journey is coming to an end, and I can’t wait to see where the group ends up in the end.
The stories for the new collection are all finished with new edits. Work on the cover and formatting will begin in the next few weeks with the goal of an early June release. I thought it wouldn’t be ready until I do a con in August, but it came together quicker than I expected. It may be completed and in hand at Nashville Horror Con in July. The tome features eleven stories and is a mix of old and new. Five are new, including a new novelette.
Lastly, the paperback versions of The Calling, Dragonflies, and Small Town Terrors will soon be back in print. Since the Kindle versions are still out, I’ve pushed this task to the back of the line a little to get caught up on other things. Right now, you can grab Dragonflies and Small Town Terror for a cool .99 until Friday.
Now, for Friday…
The Kindle version of The Eldritch Night drops on Friday. You can preorder it now on Kindle, and the paperback is slated to hit on May 6th. Go pick it up early here!
From Amazon:
Jacob Hadley is on the brink. His successful writing career, marriage, and sanity are slipping away. Given an ultimatum to get clean and write his next novel, Jacob goes to his family’s remote cabin deep in the primordial forests.
Once he arrives, things are not as they seem. The ghosts of his family’s past threaten Jacob as he spirals into madness. What secret does his family harbor? What strange sounds and creatures does Jacob find around the cabin at night?
Jacob must face his past and future in a place out of time and space while the weirdness around him grows. Jacob will face his ancestors for his soul in the hidden realm his family has protected for generations. What’s real or fantasy? Find out in The Eldritch Night.
Well, I need to split. It was good catching up with you, my fine friends. Take care, and see you later!
