And Then They Coffin Hopped!

cropped-coffinhop2013.jpgGood evening and welcome to the 2013 Coffin Hop.  On this little tour of all places dark and scary, you will meet a horde of authors and artists who represent the horror field.  By clicking the pic beside this little bit of text, you will be transported to the main site and from there, the cemetery will open and all the wickedness will be at your fingertips.

Now, if you are new around this part of the graveyard, let me introduce myself…

I am Brent Abell and I write about all the things that go bump in the night.  I will also on occasion review a book, talk about movies, or discuss music.  O course, all of it centers around the dark and the macabre.  Over the past two and a half years, I’ve had stories in over twenty publications and had my debut novella released this time last year.  In Memoriam is out of print, but you can win a copy of the first printing here on the Hop this week (signed too-details will be in Thursday’s post).  It is getting a few upgrades and will be back out soon.  There is always something happening, so I welcome you and I hope you decide to hang out.

A special part of this year’s Coffin Hop is the release of the Coffin Hop: Death by Drive-In anthology featuring authors and artists from the previous Hops.  The book is a labor of love and the proceeds from it will benefit LitWorld.org.  LitWorld is a charity that helps with childhood literacy around the world and since we are writers, reading is something near and dear to all of us.  For more info on the book and how to order, click on the big picture below and enjoy some far out works from some far out authors!

Well, that does it for the kick off.  Please come back each night to see what’s on the slab as we cruise on into Halloween night.  It has been a pleasure having you stop by and I hope to see you haunting this page on a regular basis.

Goodnight…
