The time has come for the Second Civil War to end. The reanimate army is marching on Washington D.C. and time is running out for the surviving members of the Sword and the makeshift Union army defending the nation. Who will stand and who will fall? Finishing up the trilogy was hard to do. After the real-life death of Mark Duvall, I wasn’t sure I had it in me to write this book. Once I finished, I was glad I did. Mark deserved closure to the series he was excited to be a part of. I hope all who read the series enjoy the adventure they shared with Mark.

It was weird finishing the series. The process left me tired and hopeful. Tired because doing a series is draining. Hopeful because now we can travel to other places together, my friends. I have so many other sights to show you and other things to hide in your closets and under your beds.

This journey had ended, but the others are only getting started…
