October Fallout

Tonight is housekeeping night.  October became a very busy month for releases with four new books.  These books feature words by me and other very talented authors of the mad and macabre.  The next few months are shaping up to be pretty busy too with at least four more books nearing release very soon.

So, what have you missed?  Tonight is just going to be a quick peek at the newest releases.  Two of these are for charity, so please go pick those up and help out some great causes.  The other two are superb books that will leave you screaming well into the night.

First up is one I have a special place in my heart for, The Carnival 13.  This book is thirteen authors all telling one story.  Starting with John Everson, each author wrote a chapter to form one novella.  When a person completed their chapter, it was passed on to the next author who continued the story.  Writing a round-robin style novella was fun and you can enjoy a trip to the carnival while helping out Scares that Care!  You can pick up the book on Amazon, Smashwords, and Createspace.

Second, is Pavor Nocturnus Dark Fiction Anthology Vol. 1.  The book started out as a magazine, but morphed into a very good solid book.  Parasomnia Press is responsible for this one and it belongs on everybody’s bookshelf.  Go and grab yourself some nightmares! MentalWard2CoverThird, comes to us from Sirens Call Publications in the form of Mental Ward: Echoes of the Past.  This is the first of a few upcoming books from Sirens Call that I have stories in.  So, support a line worker trying to save his soul from the mundane daily grind and buy some books this holiday season!  Available at Amazon and Smashwords.

Lastly, the second charity book is from this year’s Coffin Hop.  In an effort to help teach the gift of reading around the world, the Coffin Hop: Death by Drive-In anthology is raising money for LitWorld.org.  Hop on over to Amazon and help give the gift of reading to kids around the world!CH Cover

In Memoriam, may be gone, but it is not forgotten.  The book will be getting some updates, a Coffin Hop winner’s demise, and a new cover soon.  Once it is released, it will be my last word and definitive version of the book.  I don’t have an issue with the way it is, but I like to tinker…

And in closing, Southern Devils, is about to get the editorial process going full speed.  Once it is killed and brought back from the dead, the hard part will begin (finding a home for it).  I am still also looking at a story collection early next year.  The bulk of my stories have had the rights revert back and once they have some touch-up work done, will be back out on the streets again.

As always, thanks for relaxing and kicking your feet up with me on this cold night at the site.

Goodnight…
