Did Someone Say New Releases?

VFTG_Vol1_Final_Front_coverGood afternoon to everyone!  I want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving week and be careful if you go and do battle on Black Friday (or Gray Thursday).  I will admit that there are some movies I might brave the dogs of war to pick up…

Last night was an amazing night with two new releases from Sirens Call Publications with stories by me within the covers.  The first one is Voices from the Gloom Vol. 1.  The story featured in it is a very personal one and at its root is based on someone I knew.  The events surrounding his death were tragic and those that knew him were devastated.  Sitting down to write, “To the Angels”, I realized that some childhood wounds never heal.  Losing a member of your circle before you reach the golden teen years is terrible and seeing his empty seat on the bus everyday made his loss hard to let go of.  He wasn’t a bad kid, so don’t let the story fool you.  Sean, I’ve never forgotten…

FOTW_Front_coverThe second release is Fear: Of the Water.  The story I wrote for it is based heavily on the world building I’m doing for my fictional town of White Creek.  The town’s history is drenched in blood and the secrets it keeps could undo the fabric of reality and bring the end of the world.  In “Payment”, I begin to lay the groundwork for the basis of White Creek’s founding and the things bound within its soil.  It is also a tale about the cost of secrets and price we pay for family loyalty.  This story is one of my personal favorites and I hope you enjoy it too.

Well, I am off like a dirty shirt to start preparing for the rest of week (where I will hate myself for my food intake).  Have a safe week!

Below is the info and links so that you can have some nice new reading material to travel with…

Fear: Of the Water

Not afraid of the water? Perhaps you should be…

In the sodden pages of this collection lurk twelve tales of aquatic terror. Creatures that rise from the depths to gorge themselves on unsuspecting victims, specters who exact their revenge one sip at a time, and shadows that menace the most innocent of gathering places – these stories will warp even your worst nightmares.

Fear of the water is as old as fear itself. The next time you dip your toes in the water, might it be your last?
