Still Alive…

Hey gang,

Sorry about the long absence from here, but life has been a blur the past few weeks.  I admit, I’ve barely been able to turn on my computer, much less write or catch up on the things rampaging in my skull.  There seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel though…

On the word front, I’m only a few chapters away from completing the first draft for, The Calling. It has taken a few extra turns and some people I didn’t intend to show up have made themselves at home.  Once completed, I’m going to finish up a few dangling unfinished shorts and then dive back in on the White Creek novel that will tie the town, The Calling, and In Memoriam together.

Editing has begun on Southern Devils and I hope to have the first round back in June.  This is my first full novel and I’m hoping everyone will enjoy a little revisionist history about the Civil War (voodoo and zombies).

My story, “The Testimony of H.J. Pembrooke”, has been picked up by a press and once I have more details to share, I will.  I can say it will be a stand-alone story and not part of another book.

In the fall, I will be appearing at a convention doing panels and such.  More information is coming on this, but it should be a blast hanging out with readers and meeting face-to-face with authors who we’ve only shared online friendships.  My goal is to have the short story collection ready to debut there.

In other news, I may have found myself in a better place with more time to write and that would be amazing…

Well, I have to go and bang the keys to finish The Calling,Sheriff Frank Hill is finding himself in a very nasty situation in White Creek and he might not be able to make it through…
